Pakistan have beaten Sri Lanka in 1st ODI by comprehensively as expected Pakistani bowlers are bowled significantly especially Umar Gull and Mohammad Sami bowled outstandingly and both fast bowlers are taken six wickets in quick session and restrict Sri Lanka on just 135 Runs and as we told you in previous 1st odi match preview was that in low scoring matches Pakistan beat Sri Lanka because Pakistan have Misba Ul Haq who is the King of low scoring matches, Misbah have outstanding temperament and he can stay in wickets and took the responsibility of one end.

Now we talk about the Pakitan’s Squad Pakistan should have to play Asad Shafique in place of Azhar Ali other wise the remaining team is good. Pakistan’s strength is their bowling that’s why i supported this squad, i hear that in first odi the commentators were talking about the extra batsmen and also i read cricinfo’s 2nd odi match preview they also write that Pakistan should play another batsmen but i can’t understand why they are talking about extra batsmen because Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir and Sarfraz Ahmed all batted well and Pakistan have long tail in these type of pitches this is helpful. So pakistan need only one change in their squad against Sri Lanka in 2nd ODI.

Sri Lanka:

Sri Lanka is a good team but their problem is top three batsmen (Dilshan, Jayawerdene and Sangakara) are not performing well and if one of them stay on wickets at-least 15-20 overs and spent some times with youngsters Chandimal, Thirimanne and Tharanga than these three youngsters also have the ability to play a long innings because SL also have long tail and good hitters who can play big shots. So Sri Lanka need their experience trio stay on wicket. Now we talk about the Sri Lanka Team Squad against Pakistan in 2nd ODI so we can easily said that Despite the heavy defeat on Thursday, Sri Lanka are likely to go in with the same XI.

Match Prediction:

Again i think that Pakistan will win the 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka because this is the same ground and Pakistan have the better strategy and the main thing that’s why i supported to Pakistan is their Spinners Pakistan have the three World Class spinners in shape of Shahid Khan Afridi, Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez, who can defend the lowest target and also restrict any team in the world on under 200 runs and this target is not so difficult for pakistani Team. So Pakistan will win 2nd ODI on 9 June 2012 against Sri Lanka and lead five match series by 2-0.
